We have done a test and still testing our device on different environmental parameters that EHOOSYS can accurately operate. The conditions varieties help us better enhance the software in EHOOSYS and guide us in a future deployment. Based on our testing we suggest below the optimal threshold setting for environment parameters to maximize the EHOOSYS sensitivity:

The device should set-up properly

Several side factors like wind and non-visible circulating heat currents (e.g. air-condenser units and road surfaces) may affect the temperature reading accuracy. These factors can be accounted for simply by ensuring the device is set-up & positioned correctly. For tricky locations, a site survey ahead of deployment is necessary.

The flow of traffic should be control

One of the unique key features of our product is that there is no need for visitors to stop for a temperature reading as the device utilizes artificial intelligence to screen people in action. However, footfall must be one-way, with crowd funneled to a narrow point. This will ensure that no one is missed during the screening process.

Limitations of the EHOOSYS

Similar to manual handheld infrared thermometers, EHOOSYS is unable to screen those with bangs (hair covering their forehead), thick make-up, or perspiration. These case exceptions will need to be dealt with manually.

HOW DOES EHOOSYS WORK?

At the core of EHOOSYS, there are two main threat recognition modules and one smart decision-maker. The smart decision-maker works on top of the two main threat recognition modules to make a final decision. It runs the frames through our deep learning algorithm, and if a detection is made, EHOOSYS will send an alert with the detected frame to your security team or designated staff.

HOW TO INSTALL EHOOSYS?

It runs on premise within local infrastructure, and do not need access to the internet or cloud.

WHERE CAN IT BE USED?

It can be used for preliminary screening in border checkpoints, airports, educational and government institutions, manufacturing warehouses, hospitals, subway etc.

DO I NEED ANY EQUIPMENT TO INSTALL?

It integrates with existing local computer system, so additional hardware is required. It requires your servers to support the CPU/GPU acceleration.

It does not need any connected databases for face extraction and searches within the camera network. However, if you want to get the exact identity of the suspect, it needs to be connected to the faces database in your local security system
